How Many Ways of Telling Penis Size Are There? (Part I)

If you are looking for ways of telling penis size, you have your choice of at least a couple of different methods. The ones that I will talk about today are two of the best measurements to take: the flaccid penis length and the erect penis length. These are generally the standard measurements used to determine your starting point in any penis enlargement program.
Once you have taken these measurements, you can track your progress and see just how much bigger you have become. It doesn’t matter which penis enlargement method you use, the measurements are the same.

Measuring Up – Flaccid Length
As most of you males know, temperature can make a HUGE difference in the flaccid size of your penis. Just check it out after taking a plunge in a cool lake or cold ocean! So, in order to keep the measurement accurate, there is a certain standardized way of measuring the flaccid penis.
First off, you need to stand up straight and then extend your flaccid penis in front of you parallel with the floor (Important – DO NOT stretch out your penis). Measure from the side of your penis. Place the ruler along side of your penis and press it slightly against the pubic bone. Record your length in inches or millimeters.
This is an important measurement because this is where the first gains that come with a penis enlargement program are recognized.
Measure Up – Erect Length
Here is where the rubber meets the road, so to speak! It’s the erect penis length that most of us guys are focused on. It’s the first thing your partner sees when it’s time for action, it’s what you look at when sizing yourself up in front of the mirror, and it’s the state that your penis is in when it’s charged up and ready for use.
Again, measure from the side of the penis. This is the method used by researchers to determine “average” penis size in their surveys. First, establish an erection where you would consider it the “most” erect state possible. Then you want to hold your penis below the head in one hand and place the ruler next to it with the other hand. Once again, press the ruler into your pubic bone (slight pressure only).
You will then take the reading to the nearest millimeter. That’s it! One word of caution though, don’t EXAGGERATE the measurement in any way. You will be better off under-estimating the length, to be conservative with your starting point if you are about to start a penis enhancement program.
